Where to Go After Your Headshot Session

Los Angeles State Historic Park
Just two blocks from the studio is what we think is the best park in Los Angeles. It’s spacious, peaceful, and offers one of the best skyline views of Downtown LA.
You’re welcome to leave your car parked at our studio and walk over — just let us know so we can share the gate code with you. If you prefer to drive, there’s a paid parking lot on-site, as well as an unofficial free option nearby. When you exit our lot, turn left on Wilhardt St. and continue past the light — you’ll usually see cars parked along a dirt lot with a nearby entrance to the park.
Kissaten Corazon
Kissaten is a cozy café that serves coffee, tea, and a solid breakfast burrito. It’s relaxed and spacious- a great spot to have a bite and unwind.
It’s a quick stroll over, so you’re welcome to leave your car in our parking lot. Just let us know and we’ll share the gate code so you can get out easily.
Highland Park Brewery
A quick 2-minute drive to this brewery with a relaxed yet lively vibe and a great variety of beers on tap.
They’ve got a classic bar food menu, and the burger has absolutely no business being that good.
Homage Brewing
Just down the way from Highland Park Brewery (listed above), so if you want to make wrapping up your headshot session a full celebration, it’s easy to visit both.
They offer a great selection of beer and wine, plus really solid food — the wings are flavorful and crispy — in a relaxed, easygoing space.
Moo's Craft Barbecue
Just a three-minute drive from the studio, Moo’s is the move if you’ve worked up a serious appetite after your headshot session. It’s on a few LA foodie lists, but beyond the hype, it simply delivers. The barbecue is really good.
If you had an 11am session and wrap around lunchtime that's perfect because they open at 12pm but expect a line. Don’t let that scare you. Stick it out — you’ll thank yourself.
If your session is later in the day, just know they’re the kind of place that runs out of favorites as the hours go on.
Majordomo
If you’re feeling a little bougie and want to go all out, Majordomo is one of our favorite restaurants in LA. It’s from New York chef David Chang, and truly, nothing on the menu misses — including the cocktails.
It’s tucked away, and when you turn the corner you suddenly feel like you’ve stepped into a really cool, unexpected spot — all just down the block from the studio.
We recommend leaving your car here and walking — it’s the shortest stroll (left, then right, and you’re there). If you decide to leave it in our lot after your session, just let us know and we’ll share the gate code so you can grab it later. If you drive over instead, you may need to valet.
APOTHEKE LOS ANGELES
If you had a 5pm session and want to toast yourself afterward, Apotheke is an excellent cocktail bar just one block over. It’s located in the same lot as Majordomo (listed above).
They have a great craft cocktail menu and there are plenty of cozy spots to tuck into inside — plus a patio if you prefer some fresh air.
We recommend leaving your car in our lot since it’s about a one-minute walk and if you drive you may need to valet. If this is your plan, just let us know and we’ll provide the gate code so you can grab your car afterward.
